About Asha...
I have been drawn to the mysteries of life for as long as I could remember. I have always believed that there is more to life than what can be seen, heard or felt, and that what is true and real may actually be hidden from our every day awareness. Acupuncture happens to be one of those mysteries for me because even as science and research studies try and determine how and why it works, there is still so much more to it than meets the eye. It brings me great joy to share the work that I have cultivated over the years, learning from many traditions and modalities. As an acupuncturist, I spent my first decade blending 5-Element Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Japanese acupuncture, Shiatsu massage, Thai massage, and Usui Reiki, as well as sound therapy. My practice evolved several years ago to include using Esoteric Acupuncture as the foundation for my treatments, and that is when I saw the positive outcomes of my sessions increase several fold. I see myself as the person who places the needles, but the true work is done by you and your body as you realign to what is best for you.
What I'm up to:
I generally work out of my office in Saluda by appointment only, Tuesday through Saturday.
Once per week, you can generally find me at Laughing Elephant Yoga in Flat Rock giving acupuncture in their beautiful studio that is ADA-accessible. It is one of my favorite yoga studios and highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already.
Several times a year, I am out teaching Esoteric Acupuncture workshops, aka The Meridian Codes. If you’d like to learn more information, please go here. It is open to all Holistic Practitioners not just acupuncturists, as needle-free techniques are also taught for those who aren’t acupuncturists.

I have been very fortunate and grateful to experience Asha’s incredible gifts as an acupuncturist and a healer on a fairly regular basis since she relocated to WNC. I have had acupuncture from many gifted practitioners in the past but Asha’s work (for me) has been a whole new level. I feel that the sacred geometry that she incorporates into her treatments are working with me on a variety of levels, mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.
Every session clears the “cobwebs” from my mental field and clears energies that are not supportive to my personal growth and physical well being in many ways. I continue to level up with this work that she and I are doing together.
After my first or second session, I had a very mystical experience…where during a quick grounding and some cleansing breaths, I felt the sacred geometry grid that she had done with the acupuncture needles five days prior, repopulate in my auric field. This was incredibly powerful and I was amazed at how 5 days later, I was still experiencing and integrating the effects of Asha’s work. The first time I received Esoteric Acupuncture was while I was going through a very challenging time – with my health, alcohol addiction, work and a scary new relationship. I was struggling with a lot of anxiety, panic attacks and depression. During our session she suggested focusing on certain points on my head, giving me simple prompts that seemed to open something in me. I had the most amazing moments of clarity during the session, where everything just fell into place and the anxiety dissipated as I started to see the future unfolding exactly as it was meant to. I’ve never experienced that with acupuncture, but with Asha every treatment feels like a journey. It isn’t just acupuncture but almost like a rainbow medicine healing session, in which she applies whatever modality may be healing in that moment with what’s going on: cupping, needles, massage, energy work, and support!
